About the Artist
Minneapolis based visual artist, M.J. Brings, has been training their artistic skills for many years but has just recently come into the professional art-world. MJ creates swirling paintings and ink drawings that seek to spin tales of everyday tragedies and question audiences on their perception of the world around them. Fine linework and clashing textures make up the details of many of their paintings, with bold narratives speaking through each innocuous but powerful subject matter. Graduating the University of Minnesota in 2025, MJ appreciates the challenges that new mediums have to offer and is excited to utilize their skills to create unique tattoo designs.
